Everyone has songs that are special to them, that speak to you or touch you in a certain way, making you feel all kinds of different feelings and emotions. Every time you hear that song you feel like it was written just for you, and it takes you to another place.
Usually it’s the lyrics of the song that make the song touch you in that way, or make you feel a certain emotion because you can relate to the words of the song, because you have experienced something that the song talks about or something big happened in your life while this song was playing in the background. Or maybe the lyrics just describe exactly how you are feeling at that exact moment in time. There are a lot of songs like that for me.
But have you ever been touched by a song with no lyrics? Have you ever just heard a song and the music itself takes over you and fills you up with emotion? There are many songs like that for me. Sometimes I feel like the songs with no lyrics speak to me more than songs with lyrics. Lyrics aren’t always needed to speak to you, the music speaks louder than words, its a beautiful thing. Music is amazing and so powerful.
